Now, this trailblazer is turning its gaze to India, announcing a hefty Rs 9,000 crore commitment to build its inaugural manufacturing hub right in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Joining them were IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with key state officials like Special Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar and Special Secretary to the CM Ajith Reddy.

Since the Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited’s founding in 1961, Hyderabad has solidified its spot as a pharma epicenter, churning out 40 percent of India’s bulk drugs and even COVID-19 vaccines.
The state’s pharma policy, coupled with a new Advanced Technology Center in Genome Valley, will offer vital technical aid to newcomers.

Minister Sridhar Babu framed the expansion as a testament to Telangana’s industrial surge.
He noted how streamlined business practices are drawing global players, set to unlock fresh employment avenues for local talent.
