Jury Head Murali Mohan Announces Winners

Veteran actor and jury chairman Murali Mohan addressed the media to announce the Gaddar Film Awards, instituted by the Telangana government to honor the best films released between 2014 and 2023. He was joined by Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman and noted producer Dil Raju during the press briefing.

Murali Mohan clarified that films certified for release from June 2, 2014, were considered for selection. Each year, three best films were chosen, based on merit and cultural impact.

Special Recognition Awards

In addition to the annual film awards, six special honors were also announced for individuals who have made significant contributions to the Telugu film industry. A special jury award has been posthumously conferred on renowned poet and public intellectual Kaloji Narayana Rao.
