ANDHRA PRADESH: CBN’s 30-Year Legacy: Relentless Pursuit of Andhra’s Progress

Unwavering Political Commitment
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declared his lifelong dedication to public service without pause, speaking at a pension distribution event in Munakkayalawaripalle, Rajampet mandal, Annamayya district.

He emphasized his mission to secure a prosperous future for the state’s younger generation.

Naidu personally disbursed pension funds to Divyangura Sumitramma, reinforcing his focus on inclusive welfare initiatives.

Economic Reforms for Prosperity
Naidu underscored that economic reforms are essential for sustainable development and wealth creation, vital for effective welfare programs.

He rebranded Rayalaseema as a “land of gems,” highlighting ongoing irrigation projects to transform the region’s economic landscape.

He credited the coalition government’s post-2024 election efforts with restoring public liberties, applauding voters’ discernment.

Critique of YSRCP’s Misgovernance
Naidu accused the previous YSRCP administration of misallocating pensions to ineligible recipients, depriving genuinely disabled individuals.

He called on citizens to curb such malpractices to ensure equitable welfare distribution.

He contrasted YSRCP’s alleged promotion of violence in Rayalaseema with his government’s focus on irrigation and development.

Support for Rural Livelihoods
Naidu outlined initiatives to bolster mango farmers and expand horticulture, dairy, and livestock sectors in Rajampet, where traditional agriculture has waned.

He announced plans to extend irrigation to Kodur via Kadapa and Rajampet.

He vowed stringent action against perpetrators of violence against women, prioritizing their safety and dignity.

Direct Challenge to YSRCP
Naidu challenged YSRCP MLAs to engage in assembly debates on critical issues, including development, recent by-elections in Pulivendula and Ontimitta, and controversies like the Viveka murder and alleged political theatrics.

  • He criticized YSRCP’s staged protests, such as discarding mangoes, and urged responsible social media conduct.

Vision for National Contribution
Naidu highlighted the global presence of Telugus in education and business, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a key player in India’s development under Prime Minister Modi’s reforms.

He reflected on significant progress achieved between 2014-19, despite post-bifurcation challenges.

His administration aims to eradicate poverty and foster economic equity across the state.
