Bharat Summit 2025 – Hyderabad Hosts Global Dialogue Inspired by Nehru
Over 100 Countries Participating in International Gathering
Hyderabad is hosting the prestigious Bharat Summit 2025, organized by the Telangana government as a global platform for dialogue and diplomacy. The two-day event, taking place on April 25 and 26 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), has drawn more than 450 delegates from over 100 countries.
Summit Built on Nehruvian Ideals
Guided by the legacy of Jawaharlal Nehru’s non-alignment philosophy and the core values of the Indian National Congress — non-violence, truth, justice, and democracy — the summit aims to reflect India’s emerging role in global leadership.
Conceptualized in alignment with Rahul Gandhi’s vision, Bharat Summit 2025 seeks to address pressing global challenges through inclusive dialogue and reaffirm democratic values at a time when they are under threat worldwide.
Key Themes on Global Justice and Governance
The summit features thematic sessions on crucial issues such as gender justice, the information crisis, youth in politics, multilateralism, and climate equity. Thought leaders, global delegates, and policymakers are expected to participate in in-depth discussions to explore solutions to contemporary global crises.
Led and Supervised by National and State Leaders
Organizational oversight for the summit is being handled by TPCC (Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee) President Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC Secretary Viswanath, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Sridhar Babu. Visiting delegates have been warmly received by state and party leadership.
