International: Trump Confirms Mossad Inspected Iranian Nuclear Sites After Attacks

Mossad Agents Visited Struck Facilities
U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed that Israeli intelligence agents inspected Iran’s nuclear facilities following recent attacks. Speaking at the NATO summit, Trump stated that operatives from Mossad had visited the bombed sites and concluded that they were “completely destroyed.” He said Israel is preparing an official report and that he fully trusts their assessment, specifically regarding the Fordow nuclear facility.

CIA Supports Israel’s Assessment
The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) echoed similar findings. CIA Director John Ratcliffe issued a press release noting that the targeted Iranian nuclear sites were severely damaged and would take years to rebuild. He stressed that the damage was extensive and confirmed that further intelligence gathering would continue.

Ratcliffe added that more updates would be shared with American authorities and the public in the interest of national security and transparency.

Iran Acknowledges Damage but Limits Details
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei admitted the attacks caused significant destruction to the nuclear infrastructure. However, he did not elaborate on the scale of the damage. He accused the United States and Israel of repeatedly targeting Iran’s critical installations, resulting in cumulative loss.

Contradictory Reports from Western Media
Despite the statements from U.S. and Israeli officials, media outlets like The New York Times and CNN, quoting Pentagon sources, reported that the actual damage may not be as extensive. These reports suggest that Iran retains its capability to enrich uranium and could fully restore operations within a few months.

Divergence in Intelligence Interpretation
The contrasting reports have triggered debate over the real impact of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear program. While intelligence agencies claim long-term disruption, some Western defense analysts believe Iran’s program could recover quicker than expected.
