Summit Spotlight: Telangana’s Tech-Powered Triumph?

Venue and Vision Unveiled

The Telangana Rising Global Summit kicks off December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City in Kandukur mandal, spanning a vast 100 acres in Ranga Reddy district. This flagship gathering draws top industrialists, film stars, and sports icons from across India and abroad, all under one roof to spotlight the state’s investment allure. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy‘s brainchild, it launches the ambitious Telangana Vision 2047 document, eyeing a $3 trillion economy by mid-century.

Pathways Polished to Perfection

Teams have cleared obstacles along key routes, paving fresh roads and sprucing up the Tukuguda-Srisailam highway for seamless access. From ORR to the summit site, vibrant hoardings echo the “Telangana Rising” mantra, weaving in spotlights on women empowerment, youth initiatives, farmer welfare, and human resources. These visual cues set the tone, turning the drive into a rolling showcase of progress.

Dry Run Drills on Deck

With every government wing pitching in, the venue buzzes like a well-oiled stage, wrapping up by Sunday morning for trial runs that mirror the real deal. Officials dissect any glitches from these mock sessions, fine-tuning for flawless flow. Overseeing it all: TGIIC MD Shashank, Water Board MD Ashok Reddy, Rachakonda CP Sudheer Babu, SPEED CEO EV Narsimha Reddy, and more, ensuring no detail slips.

Security Layers Locked In

DGP Shivadhar Reddy toured the grounds Friday, spending two hours mapping multi-tiered safeguards for the high-profile crowd. Nearly 1,000 CCTV cameras blanket the 100-acre expanse, feeding live feeds to a central control room for round-the-clock vigilance. About 1,500 officers from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda, and Mahbubnagar zones handle peace duties, backed by 1,000 traffic enforcers for diversions, barricades, and parking flow.

Venues Vast and Varied

Eight specialized zones cover 14,000 square meters, anchored by the grand Inaugural Hall with breakout rooms, media hubs, dining areas, site offices, police camps, and fire stations – 33 spots in total, all polished to international shine. Adjacent suites let the CM hobnob with global guests, while three dining halls span 6,500 square meters for elite meals. Flanking the main stage: 45 thematic stalls on sectors like women’s power and industries, blending government and private exhibits.

Digital Backbone Boosted

Telangana Fiber Grid delivers seamless connectivity, with underground networks and 5G rollout supporting 10,000 users at 10 Gbps speeds non-stop. A dedicated Network Operations Center at T-Fiber keeps watch 24/7, staffed round-the-clock, while a single QR code login zips delegates online for real-time chats and ops. Airtel and Jio add temporary towers, transforming the site into a full-fledged digital haven in days.

Screens and Comfort Everywhere

LED displays light up the entire 100 acres, headlined by an 85-meter-wide mega-screen at the main entrance for live event streams and summit buzz. Along the Hyderabad-Srisailam road, more screens keep info flowing. Inside, 3,000-ton AC units cool the eight stages, blending high-tech visuals with cool comfort for uninterrupted sessions.

Power Grid Primed for Peak

Unwavering electricity flows via two-kilometer underground lines from the 33/11 KV Meer Khanpet substation, backed by double circuits and transformers: one 100 KVA, two 160 KVA, and two 315 KVA units dotted across zones. A mobile 315 KVA backup stands ready for glitches, with 150 TSSPDCL staff monitoring from Saturday through the end. CMD Musharaf Faruqui and Director Narsimhulu greenlit the setup Friday.

Crowd and Care Logistics

Expect around 2,000 delegates, swelling to 5,000 with ministers, officials, police, and support crew – catered with meals and amenities inside and out. Post-summit, through December 13, public access opens, prompting extra toilets and water points. It’s a nod to inclusivity, letting locals glimpse the grandeur after the globals depart.
