TELANGANA: KTR Accuses Modi, Reddy of Deceiving Telangana

Explosive Allegations Against Leadership
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing critique, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of orchestrating parallel deceptions against the public.

Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, KTR alleged that both leaders have failed to deliver on job creation promises, with Modi’s pledge of 2 crore annual jobs and Reddy’s 2 lakh state jobs remaining unfulfilled.

He provocatively claimed that this duo is poised to deliver a significant political setback to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Claims of Collusion and Political Maneuvering
KTR asserted a covert alignment between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress, alleging that BJP MPs shield Reddy’s missteps while Congress reciprocates with favors, such as awarding a road contract to a BJP MP.

He framed Modi and Reddy as “Bade Bhai” (big brother) and “Chhote Bhai” (little brother), suggesting a symbiotic relationship that undermines regional interests.

This alleged nexus, KTR claimed, marginalizes Rahul Gandhi, rendering him a peripheral figure in their political strategy.

Critique of Governance Failures
KTR questioned the efficacy of both leaders’ governance, pointing to unfulfilled promises and administrative lapses.

He highlighted farmers’ struggles, including long queues for urea and the alleged diversion of Godavari water to Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, contrary to Telangana’s needs.

Accusations of Political Vendetta
KTR accused Reddy of weaponizing the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to target critics, mirroring Modi’s alleged use of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to silence dissent.

He challenged the accountability of both leaders, questioning the BJP’s inaction against Reddy’s associates and Congress’s failure to implement its six guarantees.

These claims underscore KTR’s narrative of systemic betrayal and political manipulation in Telangana’s governance.

Implications for Regional Politics
The allegations intensify the political discourse in Telangana, spotlighting tensions between BRS, BJP, and Congress.

KTR’s remarks aim to galvanize public sentiment by framing Modi and Reddy as collusive figures neglecting the state’s welfare, potentially reshaping voter perceptions ahead of future elections.

The outcome of this rhetoric could influence BRS’s strategy to reclaim political ground against the ruling Congress and BJP’s regional influence.
