Kazipet police have attributed the suicide of dentist Dr. Pratyusha to her husband Srujan’s refusal to end his extramarital affair with a social media influencer. The incident, culminating in Pratyusha’s death by hanging, has led to the arrest of Srujan, his parents, and the influencer.

The couple, residing in Kakatiya Vintage Villas, Hassanparthi, with their two daughters, faced escalating tensions after Srujan’s affair began during a hospital publicity event. His persistent neglect and alleged harassment by him, his parents, and the influencer reportedly drove Pratyusha to despair.
Fatal Confrontation
On July 13, a heated dispute between Pratyusha and Srujan over his refusal to end the affair precipitated her tragic decision. Found hanging in her room that evening, she was rushed to a hospital, where doctors confirmed her death.

Following a complaint by Pratyusha’s mother at Hasanparthi police station, the accused fled but were apprehended on Tuesday morning at their residence. They were presented before a judge and remanded, as confirmed by ACP P. Prashanth Reddy.
