
Abu dhabi: The Asia Cup 2025 tournament grand opening has officially kicked off in the UAE under the supervision of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
A total of eight teams are participating in this year’s edition — India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, UAE, and Oman.

- Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong
The opening match saw Afghanistan take on Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi, while India will face UAE tomorrow.
India vs Pakistan High-Voltage Clash
The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled for September 14, with special security arrangements in place.
Matches will begin at 8 PM local time, making it convenient for Indian fans to tune in.
Special Prize Money
This year’s Asia Cup offers record prize money. The winning team will receive ₹2.6 crore, while the runner-up will earn ₹1.3 crore — a 50% increase compared to the previous edition.
