Under the Deepam 2 scheme, beneficiaries will receive subsidies for three LPG cylinders annually, deposited upfront into their accounts. Ration Distribution Feedback
A public survey revealed that 74% of respondents received ration supplies, with 76% rating their quality as satisfactory. West Godavari district led in public satisfaction for ration distribution. However, concerns about gas delivery personnel demanding additional payments were noted in some areas, necessitating corrective action.
APSRTC and Panchayat Services
Public feedback highlighted dissatisfaction with APSRTC, particularly regarding bus stand amenities, with 44% and 55% of respondents expressing concerns over drinking water and toilet facilities, respectively. Conversely, 60% of respondents confirmed improved garbage collection in rural areas under panchayat services. Naidu proposed entrusting wet waste management to DWACRA women’s groups to produce compost, enhancing rural sustainability.
