The actress, who made her Tollywood debut with Badri before establishing herself in Bollywood, may not have reached the top league of Hindi cinema but has carved out a distinct identity of her own.
In a recent interview, Ameesha shared some candid revelations about her personal life.
She disclosed that she had received several marriage proposals over the years, but many of them came with the condition that she would have to quit films after marriage.
“I never liked that condition. That’s why I am still single,” she explained.
Ameesha also admitted that she was in a relationship before entering films, but it ended for the very same reason, differences regarding her career.
She clarified that she is not against marriage but is looking for a partner who can understand and respect her profession.
Interestingly, Ameesha revealed that proposals continue to come her way even now. “Age is not a big deal. What really matters is maturity.
Even if someone younger understands me well, I’m okay with it,” she said with confidence.
After delivering a massive hit with Gadar 2 last year, Ameesha is back in demand, signing multiple projects.
Currently, she has three films lined up, with two of them gearing up for shoots.
