
Amaravati Secretariat Tenders Finalized
Major Infrastructure Project Advances
The Andhra Pradesh government has finalized tenders for the construction of the Integrated State Secretariat and HoD Towers in Amaravati. The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has been directed to allocate the projects to the lowest bidders (L1).
GAD Tower Awarded to NCC Limited
NCC Limited secured the tender for the General Administration Department (GAD) Tower. The company will undertake construction at an estimated cost of ₹882.47 crore.
HoD Towers 1 and 2 Assigned
Shapoorji Pallonji has been awarded the contract for HoD Towers 1 and 2. The construction of these towers is projected to cost ₹1,487.11 crore.
HoD Towers 3 and 4 Contract
Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) will construct HoD Towers 3 and 4. The project is valued at ₹1,303.85 crore, contributing to the integrated complex.
Government Directives Issued
The state’s Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, led by Chief Secretary S. Suresh Kumar, issued orders to finalize the bids.
The CRDA Commissioner has been instructed to ensure smooth allocation to L1 bidders.
Strategic Development Goals
The integrated complex, comprising five towers, aims to house the State Secretariat and key administrative offices.
The total estimated cost for the project is approximately ₹4,673.43 crore, marking a significant step in Amaravati’s development.
