Movie Desk: Long awaited HHVM released and here is the Hari Hara Veera Mallu Review from The2states.

Story:

Set against the backdrop of 1650s Kollur, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (played by Power Star Pawan Kalyan) is a tale of valor, mystery, and rebellion.

As the Mughals tighten their grip over India, their eyes are set on the valuable Kohinoor diamond, a symbol of power.

Entrusted with the diamond’s protection is Golconda’s ruler Qutub Shah (Dalip Tahil), who turns to the cunning and daring diamond thief, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, for the help.

The story unfolds around the hidden mystery behind the Kohinoor, Veera Mallu’s past, and the twists surrounding his clash with Aurangzeb, forming the central narrative for the movie.

Analysis:

For Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fans, this movie stands out to be a grand mass treat. From the very beginning, his energy, body language, and periodic-era look keep the audience engaged.

His entry scene and some key action blocks are sure to electrify his fans.

The screenplay, which resembles a mythical tale, brings ancient India alive on to the screen, and directors Krish and Jyothi Krishna succeed in doing so.

Music Maestro M.M. Keeravani’s background score adds further strength to the film.

Pawan Kalyan’s mature performance, his octane action scenes, and the emotionally rich sequences clearly stand out.

The setting of Kollur and the central mystery surrounding the Kohinoor diamond introduce intriguing plot twists.

Directors Krish and Jyothi Krishna have utilized Pawan acting talent to its fullest. Particularly, the emotional depth in the pre-climax and climax scenes adds weight to the film.

However, while the film is visually grand, the narrative slows down in the second half, affecting the pace carried from first half.

Despite few drawbacks, Pawan’s screen presence, the period backdrop, and the compelling music manage to hold the film together.

The ending sets up an emotionally strong foundation for the sequel.

Plus Points:

  • Pawan Kalyan’s magnetic screen presence and his performance in a new get-up
  • Rich period settings, grand production values, and large-scale action episodes

Minus Points:

  • Narrative slows down in the second half
  • Inconsistencies in visual effects in certain key scenes
  • Editing and screenplay could have been more tightly executed

Rating: 2.75/5

Verdict:

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1 showcases Pawan Kalyan’s mass appeal and star power in a periodioc action movie.

Despite a few flaws, the film delivers solid entertainment, especially for fans. It is a decent watch with grandeur and emotional depth.
