The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments have granted permission for higher ticket prices for Akhanda 2 and allowed a paid premiere show the night before release.
Telangana cleared a premiere at 8 pm on December 11 and an increase effective December 12 to 14, while Andhra Pradesh authorized a premiere on December 11 and higher rates effective from December 12 for ten days.
Telangana price structure and conditions
Telangana permits an incremental charge of Rs.50 per ticket in single screens and Rs.100 per ticket in multiplexes, inclusive of GST, for the three-day window.
The state fixed the premiere show ticket at Rs.600 inclusive of GST and directed that 20 percent of the incremental revenue from the hike be remitted to the Movie Artists Welfare Association to support film workers.
Andhra Pradesh price structure and duration
Andhra Pradesh approved an additional Rs.75 per ticket in single screens and Rs.100 per ticket in multiplexes, inclusive of GST, applicable for ten days from the stated release date.
The state also fixed premiere tickets at Rs.600 inclusive of GST for the authorized night show.
Booking timeline and shows
Online bookings for regular screenings have opened across ticketing platforms, and premiere show bookings are scheduled to go live on Thursday.
Exhibitors and online portals are expected to display the revised fares and the mandatory welfare contribution where applicable, to ensure transparency for patrons.

The temporary surcharge aims to boost first-week collections for distributors and producers while channeling a mandated portion to welfare funds for industry workers.
