Incessant rains and landslides have blocked 163 roads, including five national highways, seven state highways, and two border roads, impeding access to affected areas. Adverse weather has grounded helicopters, further complicating evacuation efforts.

Indian Army teams from Harsil, comprising 150 personnel, were among the first responders, rescuing approximately 150 individuals. The SDRF, NDRF, ITBP, and local authorities are engaged in ongoing operations, with three NDRF teams deployed and two on standby.
