ANDHRAPRADESH: Kodali Nani Faces Lookout Notice Amid Vigilance Probe
Former Minister Under Scanner
Lookout notices have been issued against former Andhra Pradesh Minister and YSRCP leader Kodali Nani. The action was taken by Krishna District Superintendent of Police Gangadhar, in connection with an ongoing vigilance investigation.
TDP Initiates Legal Push
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has escalated the matter by lodging a formal complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP). TDP State Executive Secretary Kanaparthi Srinivasa Rao, who submitted the complaint, urged authorities to monitor Nani’s movements closely.
Allegations and Intent to Travel
According to the complaint, Kodali Nani is allegedly seeking to leave for the United States, citing health issues. The TDP contends that this could be a ploy to evade the ongoing investigation and has requested that his passport be seized immediately.
Vigilance Investigation in Progress
The lookout notices are linked to a broader vigilance probe into financial and administrative irregularities during Nani’s term in office. While no formal charges have been pressed yet, the issuance of lookout notices indicates a critical phase in the inquiry, with enforcement agencies maintaining close surveillance.
