The Andhra Pradesh Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) 2025 teacher recruitment exams commenced on June 7, 2025. Candidates were admitted to exam centers by 9:00 AM for the morning session, marking the start of a month-long testing period.

Extensive Testing Schedule

Exams are scheduled from June 7 to June 30, 2025, conducted in two daily shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. A total of 154 exam centers have been established, with 137 in Andhra Pradesh and 17 across Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha.

Massive Candidate Participation

Over 336,305 candidates have submitted 577,675 applications for 16,347 teaching positions, including School Assistants, SGTs, TGTs, PGTs, and Principals. The computer-based test (CBT) format ensures efficient evaluation across multiple centers.

Application and Eligibility Criteria

Applications were accepted from April 20 to May 15, 2025, via the Commissioner of School Education’s website. Eligibility required a minimum of 50% in undergraduate degrees (45% for SC/ST/BC) and 55% in postgraduate degrees (50% for SC/ST/BC).

Exam Center Logistics

Morning session candidates were admitted by 9:00 AM, while afternoon session entry begins at 2:00 PM. Robust arrangements ensure smooth conduct across all centers, with strict adherence to schedules.

Government Support and Oversight

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh extended best wishes to candidates, emphasizing the government’s commitment to education. The initiative fulfills a key election promise to fill teaching vacancies.
